After a brief hiatus from outfit posting (Sequins and I have been ridiculously busy and on opposite schedules which means I don’t get outfit pictures because I don’t have a Monsieur of my own and the background of my living room is hella lame so self-timer is a serious compromise) I’m here to show you that I do indeed still wear clothes-despite what this blog may have implied.
And I even accessorized for you! To be honest, I’ve been studying for my final finals (woooooo!!!!) and made good use of my yoga pants, holey jeans, stained t-shirts, and random sweatshirts this last week or so and they just aren’t all that great to look at (although the outfit I wore yesterday was one of my favorites ever: gray yoga pants, old t-shirt from high school, jelly fish sweatshirt, and running shoes…5 year old me could not have been prouder).
Also, as a quick life update, because I feel like there isn’t too much to say about my ensemble aside from the fact that you guys are finally starting to see more of my printed t-shirt collection, here is a short collection of upcoming things I am excited about:
-Graduation is on Saturday eeekkk!
-I found the perfect graduation dress (thank God, I was getting a little worried I’d be naked up there living out a nightmare!)
-I got some other new articles of clothing that I think you’re going to LOVE…here a hint about my favorite piece: hot pink
-By the time you’re reading this, I will either be finishing my last final or be hellza done with my undergrad work!
-I finally scheduled a haircut so you will be seeing a reemergence of my bangs soon

And I really felt like these glasses required at least one duck face photo.
So what are you all looking forward to? Anything exciting headed your way? I wanna hear all about it!
The start of my transition from fall/winter clothes to spring/summer clothes officially began this week with my first sunburn of the year and I realized that I’m not sure which direction I want to take my style. Although I have acknowledged the fact that just because one day I wear something that is one particular style doesn’t mean the next day’s style has to be exactly the same, I really like consistency and want my style to feel like a collection not just a lot of pieces all worn by one person (side note: I watch a lot of Project Runway and blame a good chunk of my fashion OCD on that…and the fact that in general I am pretty OCD).
Now that it’s time to transition to my “summer look” I’m a little lost. I got really into my winter looks and now I’m not quite sure what to do next. As I am getting ready to make some big purchases of a few pieces I want to incorporate into my wardrobe for my summer travels it’s becoming more and more obvious that I am going through a mini-style identity crisis and I’m just not sure what to buy (which isn’t so bad because I am currently broke thanks to the mono-monster stealing all my energy to go to my job so I’m about 2 pay checks away from being back on budgetary track).
The main issue is that I’m not sure if I want to pursue the more feminine or sporty sides of my summer style and it’s been driving me crazy! I seriously can’t figure out why my brain just won’t accept that the two styles are not mutually exclusive. So frustrating!!
Anyone else experiencing some identity confusion as they transition into summer, or is it just me? (Also, thanks for listening to my little rant! It’s just so aggravating when you can’t make up your mind about stuff that should be a non-issue.)
Most importantly, is anyone else as into blue nails as I am?! Holy cow I love this color!
With only one week to go until my whole wardrobe is mine again, I am chopping at the bit. I MISS MY CLOTHES! I picked mainly “winter” colors and spring is in full fledge up here as I write this. I cannot wait to throw on some of my bright tank tops and not have to worry about if I’ve already worn that combination before because it will no longer matter.
That is definitely the part of being this far into the challenge, I can’t remember what I have worn vs things I thought about wearing so getting dressed in the mornings has become quite the ordeal trying to pull together an outfit and all. This is making getting ready in the morning really challenging and has resulted in my trying on about 5 outfits everyday trying to get ready and make a new outfit.

Whew! Only 10 more days of the challenge. Not that this has been a horrible month, I’ve gotten a lot more creative with my outfitting and I’m more likely to take some fashion risks in the future, but I’m ready for a change.
